So, basically, when we were in New York I fell completely in love with the High Line… so much so that I want to dedicate a whole post to it. The Highline is a public park in the sky, built on top of a historic freight rail line so you can see over all of the buildings surrounding you. I think because the weather was so warm when we were there it was lovely to just take a step out of the loud, yet fantastic, atmosphere that is New York and be calm for a little while. It’s one of those places where you could walk up and down for hours but keep noticing new things, the plants for one were crazy beautiful and you could just feel the care and attention that had been put into the whole environment. Anyway, let me stop rambling about my love for the place and let you have a peak at some photographs from when we were there.
